Here is my story: When I was a little girl, I did all the “right” things. I was polite, kind, agreeable….I was the definition of a GOOD GIRL. I loved to play sports, competed with the boys at times, and was a straight A student. I joined many clubs and teams and had lots of friends. I followed the same trend later in life and went off to school to study engineering and later got my MBA. I made my own decisions along the way, but I definitely made choices based on what I thought was right or smart or what others wanted of me. It was during the recession of 2008 that I found myself out of a job, living in Dubai and starting a family with my husband. I decided to take a coaching program (CTI) and fell in love with the work. The program itself changed me, as I finally started to figure out who I was and what I really wanted out of life. Fast forward to 2024, I was living in Toronto, married with three kids and life had thrown me some curve balls. I got really sick during the pandemic and suffered severe nerve pain, nervous system dysregulation and even some depression. My partner had started up his own company in 2020 and was struggling as an entrepreneur. Our level of connection and intimacy was at an all-time low. In the fall of 2024, I had an interaction with an old friend that sparked something in me. My craving for desire became lit and I started to question marriage, intimacy, monogamy….all of it. I could not deny my truthful desires and ended up asking my husband if opening up our marriage was an option. This led to many late night discussions - some calm, some very, very heated, but all necessary and meaningful. This whole process led me to researching as much as I could about intimacy, love, relationships and more. In January of 2025, I stumbled across Layla’s Martin’s VITA Coaching Certification and I just KNEW it was the next step on my personal and professional journey. I jumped into the program and have not looked back. Six hundred hours of lectures, practices & coaching later, not to mention a week long deep dive on embodiment in Costa Rica, and I am now more alive, confident and happier than I have ever been! My passion now lies in helping others who have been, or are on, a similar journey as me to find more pleasure, aliveness and connection in their lives & relationships. With the tools I have learned through the VITA course, I feel more than equipped to help others find their own freedom and profound joy!
